01 Introduction and Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP" or "Policy") governs your use of the Ordira platform and all related services (the "Service"). This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms and Conditions, which you agreed to upon registration.
The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that all users—including Brands, creators and Manufacturers—use the Ordira platform responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with applicable laws. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violation of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
This Policy applies to all users of the Ordira platform, regardless of subscription tier (Starter, Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited for Manufacturers; Foundation, Growth, Premium, Enterprise for Brands), and covers all activities conducted through the platform, including but not limited to supply chain management, brand connections, certificate management, API usage, and communications.
02 Permitted Uses
The Ordira platform is designed to facilitate supply chain transparency, brand-manufacturer connections, and product verification. You are permitted to use the Service for the following purposes:
2.1 For All Users
- Managing your account profile and business information
- Communicating with other platform users through authorized channels
- Accessing analytics and reports within your subscription plan limits
- Utilizing API access in accordance with your plan's rate limits
- Exporting your own data as permitted by your subscription tier
2.2 For Brands
- Issuing and managing product votes and certificates
- Connecting with verified manufacturers
- Tracking supply chain events and product journeys
- Accessing manufacturer profiles and verification status
- Utilizing storage for product documentation within plan limits
2.3 For Manufacturers
- Creating and maintaining manufacturer profiles
- Managing brand connections within subscription limits
- Registering and tracking supply chain products
- Configuring and using supply chain endpoints
- Logging supply chain events within rate limits
- Participating in verification processes
- Utilizing search visibility features as provided by your plan
03 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities when using the Ordira platform:
3.1 Illegal and Harmful Activities
- Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable federal, provincial, territorial, or international law or regulation
- Engaging in fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes
- Facilitating the sale or distribution of counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods
- Violating export control laws or economic sanctions
- Engaging in activities that could harm minors or vulnerable individuals
3.2 Fraudulent and Deceptive Practices
- Providing false, inaccurate, or misleading information during registration or at any time
- Misrepresenting your identity, business, credentials, or affiliations
- Falsifying supply chain data, product origins, or manufacturing information
- Creating fake certificates, verifications, or endorsements
- Manipulating reviews, ratings, or visibility rankings through artificial means
- Impersonating another user, business, or Ordira personnel
3.3 Harassment and Abusive Behavior
- Harassing, threatening, intimidating, or bullying other users
- Posting or transmitting defamatory, obscene, or offensive content
- Discriminating against users based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Engaging in stalking or unwanted repeated contact with other users
3.4 Intellectual Property Violations
- Infringing upon copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights
- Uploading content you do not have the right to use or distribute
- Using Ordira's trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
- Copying, reproducing, or redistributing platform content or features
3.5 Security Violations
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
- Circumventing or disabling security features or access controls
- Introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Conducting vulnerability testing or penetration testing without prior written authorization
- Sharing account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Intercepting or monitoring data or communications without authorization
3.6 System Abuse and Interference
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, servers, or networks
- Overloading the platform with excessive requests or data
- Using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers without authorization
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service
- Attempting to extract source code or underlying algorithms
- Modifying or creating derivative works based on the Service
3.7 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages or communications to other users
- Using the platform to collect email addresses or contact information for spam purposes
- Advertising or promoting products or services unrelated to authorized platform activities
- Violating Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) or other applicable anti-spam laws
3.8 Commercial Misuse
- Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the Service without authorization
- Using the Service to develop a competing product or service
- Sharing API keys or access credentials with third parties
- Operating multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits
04 Supply Chain Data Integrity
Ordira is built on trust and transparency in supply chain management. Maintaining data integrity is essential to the platform's value and the trust of all users.
4.1 Accuracy Requirements
- All supply chain data, including product origins, manufacturing processes, and certifications, must be accurate and truthful
- You must promptly update information when circumstances change
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of data before submitting it to the platform
- Supporting documentation must be genuine and unaltered
4.2 Verification Honesty
- Verification requests must be submitted in good faith with accurate supporting information
- You must not attempt to obtain verification status through false or misleading means
- Verification badges and status must not be misrepresented or displayed outside the platform without authorization
- You must report any errors in your verification status
4.3 Certificate Integrity
- Certificates issued through the platform must accurately reflect the underlying facts
- You must not forge, alter, or misuse certificates
- Certificate revocations must be honored and not circumvented
05 Resource Usage and Rate Limits
Your use of platform resources is governed by your subscription plan. You agree to respect and comply with the limits associated with your plan.
5.1 Subscription Plan Limits
Each subscription tier includes specific limits on resources such as brand connections, supply chain products, endpoints, events, API calls, votes, certificates, and storage. You agree to operate within these limits and not attempt to circumvent them.
5.2 API Usage
- API access must be used in accordance with our API documentation and rate limits
- Rate limits vary by plan (events per minute, per hour, per day) and must be respected
- Cooldown periods and burst allowances are enforced automatically
- API keys must be kept confidential and not shared with unauthorized parties
- Excessive API usage that degrades service for other users is prohibited
5.3 Fair Use
- Even within plan limits, usage must be reasonable and not disproportionately consume shared resources
- We reserve the right to throttle or limit usage that negatively impacts platform performance
- Repeated attempts to exceed limits may result in account suspension
5.4 Prohibited Circumvention
- Creating multiple accounts to multiply or exceed plan limits is prohibited
- Using technical means to bypass rate limiting or access controls is prohibited
- Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities to gain additional resources is prohibited
06 Content Standards
You are responsible for all content you upload, submit, or transmit through the Ordira platform. All content must comply with the following standards:
6.1 Acceptable Content
- Business information relevant to supply chain management and brand-manufacturer relationships
- Product documentation, certifications, and supporting materials
- Professional communications with other platform users
- Profile information including business logos, images, and descriptions
6.2 Prohibited Content
- Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene content
- Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights
- False, misleading, or deceptive content
- Malicious code, viruses, or harmful files
- Personal information of third parties without consent
- Spam, advertisements, or promotional content unrelated to platform purposes
07 Account Security Obligations
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
7.1 Credential Protection
- Use strong, unique passwords for your Ordira account
- Do not share your login credentials with others
- Enable multi-factor authentication when available
- Keep API keys secure and rotate them periodically
7.2 Incident Reporting
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
- Report any suspected security vulnerabilities through appropriate channels
- Cooperate with any security investigations
08 Monitoring and Enforcement
8.1 Our Rights
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to:
- Monitor use of the Service for compliance with this Policy
- Investigate suspected violations of this Policy
- Remove or disable access to content that violates this Policy
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Policy
- Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations
8.2 Consequences of Violations
Violations of this Policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- Warning: A formal notice of the violation and requirement to cease the prohibited activity
- Content Removal: Removal of content that violates this Policy
- Feature Restriction: Temporary or permanent restriction of access to certain features
- Account Suspension: Temporary suspension of account access
- Account Termination: Permanent termination of your account and access to the Service
- Legal Action: Pursuit of legal remedies for serious violations
8.3 No Refunds for Violations
If your account is suspended or terminated due to violations of this Policy, you will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid. Any outstanding fees will remain due and payable.
8.4 Appeals
If you believe your account has been suspended or terminated in error, you may submit an appeal by contacting our support team at hello@ordira.xyz. We will review your appeal and respond within 10 business days.
09 Reporting Violations
We encourage users to report suspected violations of this Policy. You can report violations through the following channels:

- In-Platform Reporting: Use the "Report" function available on user profiles and content
- Security Issues: hello@ordira.xyz for reporting security vulnerabilities
When reporting a violation, please provide as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, the user or content involved, and any supporting evidence. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action. Reports are kept confidential to the extent possible.
10 Changes to this Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Policy on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the Service.
